How do I connect my social media accounts?
Go to Dashboard → Accounts and click the "Connect" button next to each platform. You'll be redirected to authorize FarmPoster to post on your behalf.
What video formats are supported?
We support MP4, MOV, and AVI formats. Maximum file size is 500MB. For best results, use vertical video (9:16 aspect ratio) optimized for shorts and reels.
Why did my post fail?
Posts can fail for several reasons:
- Expired access token - try disconnecting and reconnecting the account
- Platform-specific restrictions (e.g., video too long for TikTok unaudited apps)
- Network issues during upload
- Content policy violations on the platform
Is my data secure?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption for all data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access tokens are encrypted in our database, and videos are stored securely on MinIO. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my account?

Can I schedule posts?
Currently, FarmPoster posts videos immediately. Scheduled posting is planned for a future update.
What happens to my videos after posting?
Your videos are stored securely on our servers for 30 days after posting. You can delete them anytime from your dashboard. Videos posted to social media platforms remain there until you manually delete them from each platform.
Why can't I post to Instagram?
Instagram posting requires a Creator or Business account connected to a Facebook Page. Regular personal Instagram accounts cannot be used with the Instagram Graph API. See Instagram's documentation for how to convert your account.
Is FarmPoster free?
Yes, FarmPoster is currently free to use. We may introduce premium features in the future, but the core functionality will remain free.
Platform-Specific Help
📺 YouTube Troubleshooting
- API not enabled error: Enable YouTube Data API v3 in Google Cloud Console
- Quota exceeded: YouTube has daily upload quotas. Try again tomorrow or request a quota increase
- Channel not found: Make sure you have a YouTube channel created on your Google account
🎵 TikTok Troubleshooting
- Private posts only: Unaudited TikTok apps can only post private videos. Apply for production approval to post publicly
- Connection failed: Make sure you're using a valid TikTok account and granting all permissions
- Video too long: TikTok has video length restrictions (typically 60 seconds for new accounts)
📸 Instagram Troubleshooting
- Account not connected: Convert your Instagram account to Creator/Business and link it to a Facebook Page
- Invalid token: Try disconnecting and reconnecting your account in the dashboard
- Processing timeout: Large videos may take longer to process. Wait a few minutes and check the status
